You have to admit, when thinking about the cold winter months, hiking in the conventional sense doesn’t often spring to mind. But Anterivo and its surroundings are just right for exploring the snowbound landscapes on foot (not only on skis). Have you ever tried snowshoes, or in Italian "ciaspole"? Why not give it a try?! Walk from Deutschnofen to Petersberg. Or from Lago di Tesero to Ziano or Masi di Cavalese. Or try out the 8 km hiking trails Lavazè – Auerlegeralm – a popular hike on the high plateau of the Lavazè. You will see that hiking with snow under the soles of your shoes is great fun!
